Singham and Singham 2 were action packed entertainers that were big blockbusters. Now, we hear Director Hari has embarked on Singham 3. The big budget flick will have locales shot in Vishakapatnam, Chennai, Tuticorin, Goa and Karaikudi. They will also shoot overseas in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Suriya will get two glam babes Anushka Shetty and Shruti Hassan to give him company on screen. So, besides the high voltage action, you can expect plenty of crackling chemistry. Director Hari revealed in an interview that, “The story of Singham 3 is connected to the previous two films and it will take off from where Singham 2 ended.”

The films music director has been quite a source of speculation with rumours that Anirudh had walked out and that Hari had avoided Devi Sri Prakash who has scored for Singham and Singham 2. Anyway, Hari seems to have zeroed on Harris Jayaraj. We can sure expect a few melodies then.

Shruti Hassan sure likes to do daring scenes but her upcoming flick with Naga Chaitanya will be quite a turnaround. Tentatively titled Manju, this flick will have her play a professor and that calls for a serious, de-glam look. She will wear minimal makeup. No hot and sexy costumes either, she will be seen in lots of cotton Mangalgiri saris and kurtis.

The flick to be directed by Chandoo Moleti is the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit, Premam.  Naga Chaitanya  plays an engineering student who falls in love with his professor played by Shruti. Anupama Parameswaran, who was part of the original film will play the same role in this. Amyra Dastur will also essay a key role.

We hear that Shruti demanded a whopping two crores but came down to a crore and twenty five lakhs after negotiations. Shooting is likely to start in December.

Chennai’s floods were devastating and many homes were washed away and quite a lot of the city’s infrastructure completely destroyed.  Nature’s fury spared no one and everyone was affected in their own way. Kollywood stars rose to the occasion and helped out in the relief.

Siddharth, Kushboo, RJ Balaji, Dhanush, Karthi, Vishal, Jayam Ravi, Madhavan and others were very active and visited flood hit areas and distributed relief material. Raghava Lawrence donated Rs. 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. Superstar Rajinikanth donated Rs.10 lakhs but was criticised for the small amount and has now donated ten crores. Rajinikanth and Vijay also opened out their wedding halls and allowed the homeless to shelter there.

Kollywood stars too were not spared from the floods.  Suriya’s home in T.Nagar was flooded and so were Arya’s and Vishal’s houses in Annanagar. Siddharth’s home too was badly flooded, Rajkiran had to be rescued by a boat.

That has been released in internet by someone else. First of all Simbu did not officially upload this song. Don’t we use foul language while talking in our homes and chatting with friends? Can any youngster say that they will speak only about Mahatma Gandhi when they speak with friends? Why are you listening to a song like this at this point of time I am in Kerala and many shares and posts I have received (in Social Media) is about this song rather than Chennai flood. Why you are making cheap publicity like this? Why you are listening to this song and making a series of complaints about Simbu? Is it necessary at this time? The camera will be cranked by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan.
